01 - What do you think of Rima Fakih? and at the top five which was his favorite!
Rima was always having fun and fully participating in whatever we were doing at Miss USA 2010. I think she has done a great job so far, and she will always be the life of the party.
02 - You thought it would be top at the Miss USA?
I did expect to be at least in the top 5. I had prepared for it, and come to find out; even all of the blogs and pageant websites had predicted it. It was a very strange and political year.
03 - Photos of Fadil Berisha caused controversy in the contest, what do you think?
The photos are BEAUTIFUL! Everyone looks incredible in their picture. Fadil Berisha is world-renowned photographer, and we are blessed to have worked with such an artist. My favorite in the top five was Miss Virginia USA, Sam. She was one of my best friends during the competition.
04 -Who was your best friend in the competition? What have you learned in the competition?
As I said before Samantha Casey, Miss Virginia USA, was one of my best friends. Also, my roommate, Megan Clementi, who is Miss Florida USA, could not have been more wonderful the entire competition.
Wow, I have learned so much about myself and my capabilities. I know that I came from absolutely nowhere in the pageant world about a year ago. I made it all the way to Miss USA. For that, I am extremely grateful, and the doors it has opened for me are incredible. I have learned that I can do absolutely anything I want to do in life. It is no longer a dream, but a reality.
05 - On the issue of Arizona in the final question, how would you answer? Do you think Morgan
responded well?
I think Morgan Woolard, Miss Oklahoma USA, answered very confidently and very politically, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I was actually looking forward to that question. Coming from Arizona, and living in El Paso, TX, the issue really hits home. The question, if you recall, was asking if the issue should be mandated by the states or by the federal government. In response to that I would have said, “Constitutionally speaking, it is the federal government’s job to protect our country’s borders. However, I live on the border and see the issues first hand. Since the Southwest has waited decades for reform, and little progress has been made, I believe Arizona had to do something to protect their citizen’s.”
06 - What do you want to do after the Miss Texas USA 2011?
After I pass on my crown I plan to start professionally modeling. Hopefully you will see me on some international runways!
07 - What is your Miss USA and Miss Universe favorite?
My favorite Miss USA would have to be Crystle Stewart who won in 2008. She is from Texas, and I just love her inspirational story. She helped me tremendously in preparing for Miss USA, and I wish her nothing but greatness.
My favorite Miss Universe is Dayana Mendoza who also won in 2008. She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, and she even gave me a phone call! I have heard nothing but amazing things about her, and how she handles herself with humility and grace. I was thrilled to be able to speak with her.
08 - If it were not Miss nor player, what would it be?
If I was not either an athlete or a pageant queen, I would want to be a runway model. It is something I have always wanted to do, and now I am making it happen for myself.
09 - You want to get back to racing in some other competitions or try the world of fashion?
I think I am done in the pageant world. I want to keep my record where it is. The world of fashion better be ready for a 6’2” woman!
10-Ten Random Things About Me:
1. Jesus is my Savior.
2. I have to find a guy that is at least 6’6”.
3. My room is full of leopard print.
4. In the future, I want a Great Dane named Queen.
5. Breakfast food is my favorite!
6. I am the most competitive girl you will ever meet.
7. I also love people. I’m always talking to someone!
8. Lying out in my pool is my favorite pastime.
9. Skinny jeans save my fashion life.
10. I still jam out to NSYNC.
One more thing, I cannot believe the incredible support I have received from all of you. My fans are the best in the world. You are not fans to me, but friends. Thank you so much for caring about my life and for all the love you have given me.

Miss El Paso Texas 2011
Miss USA Lingerie Photoshoot causes controversy
If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, then this year's Miss USA contestants are giving the world an eyeful thanks to a controversial lingerie photo shoot.
Critics say the publicity photos ahead of the pageant in Las Vegas this Sunday are a tawdry attempt to publicize the event. Organizers say they are making the show, which previously frowned on overt sexuality, more modern.
"All the contestants really pushed their envelope," Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, said on MSNBC television. "We've always been the cutting-edge pageant."
